Christine Stoddard is a Salvadoran-American multi-hyphenate writer, artist, and funny lady living in Brooklyn, NY. Her artwork has been recognized and curated by the Library of Virginia, New York Transit Museum, Elisabet Ney Museum, Kaos Festival of Contemporary Collage, Brooklyn Public Library, and other organizations. She was the first-ever artist-in-residence at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House in Manhattan and an inaugural AnkhLave artist fellow at the Queens Botanical Garden. Her books of poetry and photo illustrations include Water for the Cactus Woman, Heaven Is a Photograph, and Belladonna Magic. A graduate of VCUarts and The City College of New York, she is the founder of Quail Bell Press & Productions, including Quail Bell Magazine.
