My Lady is most exciting on top.
Silently she waits for the excitement to release its shiny spring
which I have cocked beneath her.
She hardly notices when it springs but I notice.

My Lady does not send you a get-well card
when you lose all your friends in a fire.
But if you sleep with me, I will show you her things.

When my Lady awakens, she is surprised to find
freezer bags of her things labeled MY LADY
in place of our sleeping bodies.
