[Don’t want to choose between love & surviving. Zoom out with / me, I’m scared distance isn’t enough. Don’t know when we went / from baby it’s ours to it’s all yours. Here we are, the grass / marrying itself into my denim. Don’t know when that became / an issue. Don’t want to wash you out, just want to do the / laundry. Trying to feel clean again. Don’t know if / water feels like concrete from fifty feet. Do know my / smaller hurts are building surface tension.]
